They add a more secure feel in the seat and bring a clean traditional look to the saddle. Made from cow leather and filled with dense synthetic PES fleece that keeps its shape well, does not absorb water like natural wool, and does not attract bugs.

These bucking rolls are made for practical everyday use on slick fork and A-fork saddles, especially where the rider wants a bit more support and a more secure feel in the seat.
Each bucking roll has a firm body made from top grain cow leather. The padded upper part is made from suede leather, also cowhide. Inside, the rolls are filled with dense synthetic PES fleece. We use this filling because it is firm, durable, and can be packed properly to create the right shape and structure. Unlike natural fleece, it does not soak up water and does not create the same conditions for insects or larvae.
The set includes two stainless steel D-rings and a connecting strap between the rolls. The strap is made from very soft oiled leather so it can be tightened easily and hold securely in place.
You can match the bucking rolls to your saddle or choose a contrasting color. The numbered photo makes color selection simple and clear.

Standard is the regular size for most saddles. Small is meant for very small saddles, especially youth saddles with a seat 13" or smaller.
What are they made from?
The body is made from top grain cow leather. The padded upper part is suede leather, and the filling is dense synthetic PES fleece. The hardware includes stainless steel D-rings.
Why do you use synthetic PES fleece filling?
Because it is dense, firm, durable, holds its shape well, does not absorb water like natural wool, and does not attract bugs.

Are these handmade?
Yes. Each pair is handmade in our saddlery workshop in Brno, Czech Republic.
