This handmade leather Civil War US cartridge box replica is made for reenactors, collectors, and living history use. It is based on the Pattern 1841 ammunition box in Northern style and can be ordered with or without period-style stamps.

This piece is made as a solid leather reproduction, with attention to practical use, clean construction, and the look of period gear. It works well for mounted impressions, cavalry-related setups, officers, or anyone building a Civil War kit who wants a leather accoutrement that feels like proper gear rather than costume leatherwork.
The box is made from quality vegetable-tanned leather, then hand-dyed, cut, and sewn in our workshop. We do not treat it as a decorative souvenir first. The goal is a replica that looks right, carries well, and holds up in actual use.
You can choose a cleaner unstamped version, or order it with period-style marking options:
– no stamp
– US stamp
– B. White US Ord. Dept stamp
Without the stamp, it can also work more generally for historical impressions where a less specific finish makes more sense.
Because each piece is made individually, slight variation is natural and part of handmade work.

Yes. Each box is made in our saddlery workshop from leather, with hand cutting, dyeing, and sewing.

Yes, it is made as a historical-style leather replica for reenactment, living history, and collection use.
Can I order a custom color?
If you need a different shade, send us a message before ordering.
Is every piece exactly the same?
No. Since each piece is handmade, small natural differences are normal.
