A pair of handmade western stirrups made from steam-bent ash wood and covered in leather by hand. Built for real riding use, with a strong hardwood body, stainless steel hardware, and a clean traditional finish.

These stirrups are made from solid hardwood, not from thin laminated wood pieces. Steam-bending thick ash is demanding and time-consuming work, but it gives the stirrup a strong one-piece structure with very good durability in everyday use.
Ash is an excellent wood for this kind of product thanks to its strength and resilience. It may sound less familiar than oak, but for practical use it is a very good choice for well-made wooden stirrups.
The leather cover is made by hand from durable quality leather. Brown and black versions are rawhide laced on the bottom. Other color options are made from vegetable-tanned leather and hand dyed in our workshop.
The wooden body is finished with three layers of transparent matte varnish to help protect the surface while keeping the natural character of the wood visible.
Each pair is handmade in our saddlery workshop in Brno, Czech Republic. If you would like a custom leather color or a less usual wood and leather combination, feel free to message us before ordering.
